A final thought on admissions

Admission to Big Brains Preparatory is competitive, but not limited to one measure. A committee comprised of faculty and administrators considers the following sources of information: the application, academic records, school visit/interview and a student’s talents, character and leadership qualities. The Admissions Committee will consider multiple factors and determine the most suitable program for the applicant.

Part Time

Taking individual courses at BBP is an effective alternative for high school students to learn concepts and skills and progress at their own pace. The pace slows when the student struggles and accelerates when the student succeeds.

Once the coursework is completed, the students will earn credit. Course enrollment options include:

Credit Recovery: This option is for when students need to retake a course, or they aren’t successful in the course at their local school.

Dual-enrollment: This alternative allows students to take some of their courses at BBP, and some at a local school with their friends.

Our curriculum includes all required 9th to 12th grade courses in math, language arts, science, and social studies, as well as Advanced Placement courses.

* Part-time Admission is only offered to domestic applicants and is done on space available basis.
